How to play:- Bid for the contract based on your meld potential and expected trick-taking strength.
- Win the bid to declare trump and, in call-a-partner rules, name a specific card to choose your partner.
- Lay down melds to score early points using runs, marriages, pinochles, and sets before trick play begins.
- Lead the first trick, follow suit if possible, and use trump strategically to capture key point cards.
- Manage your tricks and tally points to meet or exceed your contract; avoid being set and the penalty that follows.
- Rotate the deal, track scores after each hand, and race to the target score to win the game.
